TESDA Approved Slaughtering Operations Training Courses

For those who wish to work abroad as Butchers, TESDA and a few TESDA accredited schools, are now offering Slaughtering Operations NC II. These Slaughtering Operations training course are for slaughtering large animals and slaughtering swine or pig. For Slaughtering Operations (Large Animals) NC II, the minimum butcher training duration and trainee qualifications required by TESDA agency are: 

SLAUGHTERING OPERATIONS (LARGE ANIMALS) NC II

Minimum Training Duration: 

 

  20 Hrs. (Basic Competency)

  20 Hrs. (Common Competency)

320 Hrs. (Core Competency)

TRAINEE QUALIFICATIONS

Trainees or students who wish to enter this training should possess the following qualifications:

1. Must have completed 10 years basic education.
2. Can communicate both orally and in writing.

A person who has achieved Slaughtering Operations (Large Animals) NC II qualification is competent to work as a Slaughterhouse Butcher (Large Animals). 

For Slaughtering Operations (Swine) NC II, the minimum butcher training duration and trainee qualifications required by the agency are:
