TESDA Approved Housekeeping Vocational Training Courses Offered

For those who wish to learn Housekeeping, TESDA in partnership with TESDA accredited schools and TESDA accredited training centers, are offering the public the opportunity to enroll in TESDA Approved Housekeeping Vocational Training Courses Offered. The Housekeeping course offered by TESDA have corresponding qualifications for Housekeeping NC II and Housekeeping NC III. Provided below are the TESDA required training duration and trainee entry requirements for each of the Housekeeping vocational training course offered.   

Housekeeping NC II Minimum Training Duration

 

  18 Hrs. (Basic Competency)

400 Hrs. (Core Competency)

Housekeeping NC II Trainee Entry Requirements

Trainees or students who wish to enter this course should possess the

following requirements:

• Can communicate in English both oral and written.
• Can perform basic mathematical computation.

Housekeeping NC III Minimum Training Duration

   40 Hours (Basic Competency)

   96 Hours (Common Competency)

   64 Hours (Core Competency)

+ 64 Hours - Supervised Industry Learning (SIL)

Housekeeping NC III Trainee Entry Requirements

Trainees or students who wish to enter this training should possess the following requirements:

• Must have completed the 10-year basic education or an Alternative Learning
• System (ALS) Certificate of Completion with grade 10 equivalent holder.
• Can communicate in basic English in both oral and written form.
• Must be computer literate.
• Can perform basic mathematical computation.
• Must be competent in Housekeeping NC II qualification gained through training or experience or certification.

All of the TESDA free courses offered are made possible thru free training vouchers given to each of the TESDA accredited schools for each of the TESDA approved course they offer. The training vouchers given are limited so only early enrollees who are qualified for training will be given the slot for TESDA subsidized training.
