TESDA Approved Computer Systems Servicing Training Course

For those who wish to study Computer Systems Servicing, TESDA in partnership with a number of TESDA accredited schools and TESDA training centers, are now offering TESDA approved Computer Systems Servicing training course.

The TESDA Computer Systems Servicing course covers basic and common competencies in installation, maintenance, configuration, and diagnosis of computer systems and networks. For this TESDA vocational course, the required minimum training duration is 280 hours, 40 hours of which is allotted for learning basic competencies for Computer Systems Servicing, 80 hours for learning common competencies, and 160 hours will be spent learning core competencies.

To qualify for enrollment in a TESDA approved computer systems servicing course, a trainee or student should possess the following qualifications:     

  • Can communicate either oral and written.
  • Must pass the trainability/aptitude test.

A person who has achieved NC II Qualification in Computer Systems Servicing is competent to be work fill any of the following positions:

  • Computer Assembler
  • Computer Service Technician

TESDA Commercial Cooking Courses and Training Centers

 For those who wish to work as a chef in a hotel or restaurant, you may enroll in any of the TESDA commercial cooking courses and training centers. 

Commercial Cooking is the practice of professionally preparing different meals within large-scale settings such as schools, commercial kitchens, and restaurants. It has 2 qualifications, Commercial Cooking NC III and Commercial Cooking NC IV. Shown below are the details for both Commercial Cooking NC III and Commercial Cooking NC IV

Commercial Cooking NC III Trainee Entry Qualifications

A person who has achieved this Qualification is competent to be a Sous Chef, or an Executive Sous Chef, or as a Restaurant Chef.

TESDA Approved Carpentry Training Course

For those who wish to learn Carpentry, TESDA together with a number of TESDA accredited schools and TESDA training centers, are offering TESDA approved Carpentry training course. The carpentry training courses offered have NC II and NC III qualifications. For Carpentry NC II, the minimum training duration required by TESDA is 162 hours. Of the said training duration, 18 hours will be used learning the basic competency for Carpentry NC II, 24 hours will be spent learning common competency, and 120 hours is allotted for learning core competency.

To qualify for training in Carpentry NC II, a student enrollee must meet the following qualifications:  

  • A holder of National Certificate Level I.
  • Good Moral Character.
  • Ability to communicate.
  • Physically fit and mentally healthy.
  • Can perform basic mathematical computation and mensuration.

Carpentry NC III on the other hand has a required minimum training duration of 364 hours where 20 hours of which will used in learning the basic competency for Carpentry NC III. For common competency, 24 will be allotted and 320 hours for core competency.  

To gain entry in Carpentry NC III, an student enrollee should have the following qualifications:

  • Can communicate both oral and written
  • Physically and mentally fit
  • With good moral character
  • Can perform basic mathematical computation and mensuration
  • Ability to communicate ideas

TESDA Approved Caregiver Training Course

For those who wish to enroll in a TESDA Approved Caregiver Training Course, we will be providing at the end of this posting, a list of all the TESDA accredited schools and TESDA training centers with TESDA Caregiving courses offered. 

Caregiving NC II vocational course has a nominal training duration of 786 hours. Of these, 18 hours will be spent learning Basic Competencies, 18 hours will also be spent in learning Common Competencies, and 750 hours learning Core Competencies for a total learning duration of 786 hours minimum.

To gain entry in a TESDA approved caregiver course offered, a trainee or student. must meet the following qualifications:  

  • Can communicate both in oral and written.
  • Physically and mentally fit.
  • With good moral character.
  • Can perform basic mathematical computation.

TESDA Approved Bread and Pastry Production Training Courses

The Bread and Pastry Production NC II course offered by TESDA and its accredited schools is composed of competencies that an individual should attain in order for them to satisfactorily perform the duties and responsibilities. A person who is a Bread and Pastry Production NC II certified by TESDA is qualified to apply for the positions of Pastry Commis or as a Baker in hotels, restaurants, or cruise ships. 

All TESDA approved Bread and Pastry Production Training Courses offered by TESDA accredited schools and training centers should have a minimum training duration of 141 hours wherein 18 hours should be spent learning Basic Competencies, 18 hours for learning Common Competencies, and 105 hours should be spent for learning Core Competencies. 

To qualify for enrollment in any of the TESDA approved Bread and Pastry Production NC II vocational course, all trainee or student must possess the following qualification:

  • Can communicate in basic English either oral and written
  • At least high school graduate
  • Physically and mentally fit
  • With good moral character
  • Can perform basic mathematical computation
  • With pleasing personality
