2019 TESDA Approved Short Training Courses Offered Marikina

In Marikina, there are more than 30 TESDA accredited schools and training centers with 2019 TESDA Approved Short Training Courses Offered Marikina. This is in response to the increasing demand for Technical Vocational Education and Training or TVET in the country's shoe capital, Marikina City.

TESDA was created on August 25, 1994, by virtue of R.A. 7796 which was signed into law by then President Fidel V. Ramos. This Republic Act is aimed at providing equitable access and provision of TESD programs to the increasing TVET clients. And to do this, TESDA needs the help of both the private and public sectors thru various TESDA accredited schools and TESDA training centers. And to accomplish its mission, the TESDA Board is the one who formulates manpower and skills plans, sets appropriate skills standards and tests, coordinates and monitors manpower policies and programs, and provides policy directions and guidelines for resource allocation for the TVET institutions in both the private and public sectors.
