For those who wish to enroll in any of the TESDA Approved Animal Production Training Courses Offered, we have provided below the 2021 list of all the TESDA accredited schools and TESDA training centers with TESDA registered programs in Animal Production.
There are three different types of Animal Production courses and they are Animal Production (Poultry-Chicken) NC II, Animal Production (Ruminants) NC II, and Animal Production (Swine) NC II.
For Animal Production (Poultry-Chicken) NC II, the minimum training duration prescribed by TESDA is 226 hours. To be able to qualify for enrollment, a trainee or student must meet the following qualifications:
- Able to read and write
- Able to communicate, both orally and in writing
- Physically fit and mentally healthy as certified by a Public Health Officer
Animal Production (Ruminants) NC II on the other hand requires 306 hours of training duration to complete the training course. In this 306 hours, 18 hours will be spent on learning basic competencies, 48 hours for learning common competencies, and 240 hours will be spent for learning core competencies. And to qualify for training in Animal Production (Ruminants) NC II, a trainee must have the following trainee entry qualifications:
- Able to read and write
- With good moral character
- Able to communicate, both orally and in writing and
- Physically fit and mentally healthy as certified by a Public Health Officer
And lastly, for Animal Production (Swine) NC II, the minimum training duration required by TESDA is 306 hours. And for a trainee or student can qualify for enrollment, he or she must be:
- Able to read and write
- With good moral character
- Able to communicate, both orally and in writing
- Physically fit and mentally healthy as certified by a Public Health Officer
